We had a great time during and after our concert in the beautiful, monumental Wester-Amstel last Sunday! The audience was lovely and supportive and our hosts were wonderful. We ended with a song, performed by three vocalists; our own singer Petra, host and international top vocalist Fleurine and Petra’s daughter Gudrun, who won the Prinses Christina Concours in December! We’re grateful for the opportunity to play on this charming jazz stage, especially while our band plays slightly different music; not the ‘usual’ jazz, but gothicjazz, a couple of jazzy ballads and artpop & operatic pop-noir with cinematic, Lynchian influences…. Nevertheless, the audience was enthousiastic. We also had a little world premiere; we played our brand new ‘TV Tower‘ song for the first time ever in front of an audience. We hope to release this song soon, on our next EP. Some pictures of the concert are on our Facebook page and, soon, also on our insta channel.
Our next March-concert at StudioGonz in Gouda🍕will also be an interesting evening, together with two other intriguing bands. It reminds us of our Resistor concert last January, and we hope for an evening as nice and interesting as that evening; the audience gets three interesting bands that somehow fit together, in one evening, for one small entrance fee, and we meet nice colleagues and watch great concerts of them, too.
And in April we’ll play again in the beautiful Roode Remise in Amsterdam! We also played there last Summer. Did you know that they also serve fantastic vegan food for almost the whole evening?
In the mean time we work on our new EP plus our next album, and book more concerts. See you soon! Perhaps we’ll meet you at one of our shows!
