Chabliz

At Februari 14 its Valentines Day again. Chabliz will perform on a cultural Valentines Night in The Hague, Holland, organised by Anne Marie Boorsma from theatre group Weerschijn. Several other artists, singer-songwriters and poets will perform this evening too, all about the same subject……… Chabliz will of course reflect on the darker sides of Love with its small performance………
We selected a brand new song from our repertoire for this evening.
The evening will start around 8 p.m. ( but be there before – 7.30 – for a good seat) at the Muziekacademie , Raamweg 36, Den Haag (“Het Berlagehuis”). Other artists who will perform are: Gerrit Vennema (poet), the Juliet Ros Quartet, Jeroen Ward, Huib Versluys, Eva Boorsma, Edith de Gilde and many others.

Saturday we’ll have a recording session for our new videoclip , together with director Riske de Vries ( this is her site ) . We also will have a recording session at October 13 in Rotterdam. For that session we are looking for extras (figurants). Please send us an email or facebookmessage when you’re interested….

Our concert in Leiden last Saturday was quite nice. Our audience was MARVELLOUS ! They weren’t with many people ( we had to compete with the “Lakenfeesten”, a big yearly festival in Leiden ). But eventhough we sold a few cd-albums and the people who watched us really appreciated the gig. Singer-songwriter Catself played before us and she did a really great job too. The audience was very silent when she played her songs.
