It was a nice and cosy atmosphere at grand café Soestdijk in Gorinchem, where we played together with several singer-songwriters last Sunday afternoon. René and Petra were both ill (flu, cold, throat infection and more) , but nevertheless: they played ! The music from Chabliz was slightly different from the music that’s usually played over there, but the people enjoyed it nevertheless. Nice place ! Concerts

We had a great time last sunday evening at JW in Rotterdam. We played right after singer-songwriters Lee-Leet and Catself who both sang like angels. Lee-Leet was also accompanied by a great drummer. The audience was very good and enthousiastic about all three acts. We all sold some albums and had a great evening.

This sunday afternoon we will play a semi-acoustic, unplugged concert together with David Savage in grand cafe Soestdijk in Gorinchem. Check our concerts-page for more details.

a good day at the (dutch) “Muzikantendag”

We had a great day this Saturday at the Musicians Day (Muzikantendag) in Sittard. Radio 2 is interested. Two venues are interested. One of them has serieus plans to book us for a support act. One publisher/ record label is interested. We got many good comments too and learned a lot. Suddenly everybody likes us…and wants us 🙂

This weekend we spend a whole day in an old church in Bennebroek to record a videoclip for our song “Blue Strike”. We heard the song now for more than 50x ……..

Yesterday we had a great time with our concert in music cafe JW in Rotterdam ! It was the first gig avec our new guitarplayer Rene Meester and he did a great job ! Everybody agreed on the fact that our sound is much improved since we have a new guitarplayer ( the last years we played without guitars). The owners of JW looked after us very well and everybody was happy, except Pim, our pianist- keyboardplayer, he suffered from the flu but still managed to play well.

Autumn

We’re back from the summer and our new guitarplayer Rene Meester is ready for concerts with us. Chabliz has a sound like never before now we have a great guitarplayer in our band. Saturday sept 22 we will have our first small gig together with him. At sept 29 we will record our new videoclip. This month we will also make a new bandpicture. We are booking a tour in holland and abroad, amongst many other things that are happening around us right now ! There’s something in the air…..
