Autumn

Hi ! We’ve got a few new, confirmed concertdates for you. At Poppy Day ( Nov 11) we’ll give a livegig @ Living Blues Radio, at 010 FM in Rotterdam.
We’ll play several songs live, give and interview to Dutch blueslegend Nicko C and he will play several of our songs on the radio.

At Feb 21 we will play at the Rock The House KWF Festival in Zwolle, and at March 20 we will play live at the Real Radio Show in New York, USA.

Underneath our new, yet unpublished song, that we recorded featuring our heroine, the famous Fay Lovsky, on theremin and singing saw . It’s written by Neil Hannon and Joby Talbott, two fantastic songwriters and composers:

We’re back !

Hi ! We’re back again, back from the summer holidays. Last month we performed at “Beelden in Gees” , in a beautiful garden full of statues at a sultry summer evening. While performing, we saw a remarkable sunset. Quite inspiring ! We had a very nice and interested audience too ! If you’re ever near Gees ( Drenthe, the Netherlands), we recommend you to visit this great garden and gallery, especially if you love art and /or nature.
We’re currently writing, recording and mixing some new songs for our third studio album. One song is about Bluebeard’s garden, and another brand new song is called “Conductor 71”. Within a few months our second studio album will finally be released.

Next concert in a garden full of statues

Next week, the 22th of July, we will give a nice, semi-acoustic outdoor summer evening concert with piano/keys, acoustic double bass and vocals, in a beautifull big garden full of statues; Beelden in Gees . New live video : Moon

On this day of the eclipse, it’s a nice moment to share our new livevideo “Moon” with you ! It’s a song that we wrote quite some time ago, beautifully arranged by Wim Oudijk on our Nightporter album. This is our most jazzy song, but, not the usual jazz, we wouldn’t be Chabliz if we didn’t give it a dark jazz / jazz-noir atmosphere. The video is recorded in Blanko, a venue in Emmen, Holland ( right after Halloween 2014 ) and the video is recorded by Catself and edited by Christer Holm. Please enjoy ! :

Chabliz gigs in New York

Good news ! Chabliz is invited to play live in the The Real Radio Show in New York, USA at November 1 ! In the days before the radioshow we will give a few gigs in and around New York. We’re looking forward to this little tour and these great gigs. The band will give an interview too @ The Real Radio Show.

New Live Video Chabliz

We uploaded our new Live video @ You Tube ! Our good friend and collegue Catself and her husband Christer Holm made this video. The sound engineer is Lauwrence de Vries. The performance was two months ago @ JV Blanko
We performed Sreamin’Jay Hawkins’ famous song “I put a Spell on You”. For impatient listeners: the second half is the most interesting part……….but if you only listen to that, you’ll miss the development that makes this song so very strong……
